Karla's Family
Walt works for a milk processing Plant in Fort Morgan. With his job and all the home "honey do's" he doesn't have much time for hobbies. But, when opportunity arises he enjoys hunting and fishing. Karla and Walt Powell live in Fort Morgan, CO. with their three children Jase (19), Morgan (16) and Mackenzie (12). Karla now works for an oil transport company		Jase was a state officer in Colorado in 2008 & 09. He loves that orginization and what it stands for. We have sure seen him grown over the last few yeas to be a caring confident young man. He is freshmen in College this year. Over the Christmas break he is planning on getting his certification in AI. Through high school he had an outstanding FFA leader that trained the kids through the whole proccess of AI. Future plans include TT. Hope that works out because then he will be in Lubbock and we will be able to see more of him.
Mackenzie, Jase and Morgan		Morgan and Mackenzie Each time one of the Grandkids has turned twelve I take them with me to a special cake show. 2010 will be the year for Mackenze. Morgan will be coming also and we will be going to the ICES show in San Diego in August if everything works out.

On the Left - January 2009 the kids gave us a surprise 50th Anniversary party. This photo is of Karla (sitting ), Dan (standing) and Morgan. Looking over some of the older photo albums. On the Right - Morgan and one of the Draggons. A strange pet.	I Morgan's Kamoto Dragon #1. She ended up with 3. Summer of 09 she decided to sell those three and change to raising and training a hunting dog. Drawback to these creatures living in CO was the cold weather. Interesting food they ate such as zuccini, fresh strawberries and live crickets.
Morgan is a sophmore in high school. She has been caring for a couple of kamota dragons the last couple of years as her FFA project. Now she has a new puppy that she wiill be traning to be a hunting dog. Morgan also has a job at their local grocery store.			12/09 Updated Photos
Mackenzie is such fun to have around. Bubbly and full of energy. She swims with a local swim team in the summers. We are all waiting to see just where her intrests will land as she gets older. She spent a little time with us this last summer and we had fun making some jewelry. An out of the box thinker - life shoud be interesting for people around her			Morgan has had an interest in ballet for years now. Not many girls her age in the classes in their small town.
